The Rion VA-12 is a Portable Vibration Analyser that can be used for both simple, and more precise diagnosis depending on the user’s needs. This device measures acceleration, velocity, and displacement where results can be displayed in either time or frequency domain. The VA-12 will also display rms, peak, and crest factor. The FFT analysis function displays power as well as vibration spectrum, and is specifically designed for taking measurements in the field. This device includes magnetic pick-up type, and stores data on a built-in SD card that is recognised as a removable disk when connected to a PC, making it easy to transfer results via USB cable.
