Cygnus was founded in 1983 with an original product line for the NDT of ships’ hulls. As well as a full range of ultrasonic thickness gauges, Cygnus now manufactures Ultrasonic Hatch Cover Testing, Ultrasonic Tightness Testing and Flooded Member Detection equipment – all made in the UK. Cygnus is proud to offer worldwide customer service and specialises in making robust and simple to use ultrasonic testing (UT) equipment for corrosion inspection and subsea IRM.
